1. In Memoriam: Mike Wieringo

   At the early age of 44, comic book artist Mike Wieringo died of heart failure on Sunday, August 12, 2007. He was a very talented artist and a good person. He will be missed. He penciled this Hulk comic cover

   Finally, the monstrous saga that follows the fan-favorite Planet Hulk saga began this month with Hulk Vol.2 #106. Perspiring one word: REVENGE, the World War Hulk saga promises to be a Marvel event, telling the stories of how the Hulk avenges the death of his wife Caiera, his unborn son, and his planet Sakaar by destroying those who sent him away in the shuttle than exploded and destroyed his planet.
