TIH #319: It happened right after Doc Samson separated Banner from the Hulk. Thunderbolt Ross tried to abort the wedding by killing Banner. But Rick Jones got in the way of the bullet, saving his friend's life. Fortunately, it was not a serious injury for Rick.

Banner's Wife, Betty Ross, Loses Her Baby (Hulk's Child)
TIH #360: Betty Ross, Bruce Banner's (Hulk's) wife, unfortunately loses their child. She told the (Gray) Hulk about the baby in TIH #342. But the very first to speak about Betty and Hulk having a baby was the Leader in TIH #342.

Hulk Becomes A Member Of The Avengers
Avengers #1: Hulk accepts the invitation to be a member of a group of super heroes that is called the Avengers. The other founding members were Thor, Iron Man, Ant Man and the Wasp. Hulk left the team soon after.
